Our People

Hale was founded in 2021 by Nicholas Bradley and Robert McMickan, who bring over 30 years of combined experience across development, transactions and asset management.It was this experience that underpinned Hale’s position as a market leader and pioneer in Australia, with a growing portfolio of industrial assets, $XX billion funds under management and a team of XX experts across multiple disciplines.

With offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Singapore, and a diverse and inclusive environment for its employees, stakeholders and clients, Hale’s expert team is primed to continue growing.

Nicholas Bradley

Joint Managing Director

Nick has more than 17 years of experience in industrial development, asset management and transactions across the real estate industry, having previously worked with M7 Real Estate (UK/l Europe), LaSalle IM, Fife Capital and Goodman Group.

Nick’s experience in working with capital partners to expand portfolios through development and acquisitions, while maximizing returns for investors, has been central to his role in overseeing Hale’s growth since 2021, alongside joint managing director Robert.

Robert McMickan

Joint Managing Director

Robert has in excess of 15 years’ experience having previously worked with Aberdeen Standard Investment (ASI), Investec Bank, Mirvac Group and Colliers. Robert has led approximately A$2Bn of industrial transactions in Australia.

Robert’s experience working in industrial development, transactions, capital raising, and funds management gave him the industry experience, knowledge and network to launch Hale alongside joint managing director, Nicholas, in 2021.

Jeremy Toole

Chief Financial Officer

Jeremy is the Chief Financial Officer at Hale responsible for the Group’s finance function, which includes financial operations and performance, planning and analysis, reporting, treasury & taxation.



Jeremy has over 15 years’ experience working across roles in commercial finance, funds management and chartered accounting.

Prior to joining Hale in 2021, Jeremy was Head of Finance of AMP Capital Office and Logistics business. Jeremy is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Business (Acc, Fin).

Ben Keen

Head of Investments

Ben has over 20 years experience in the industrial and logistics sector, both domestically and abroad in structuring, securing and growing funds.

Before joining Hale, Ben was Head of Funds Management and Capital Transactions at ESR Australia and responsible for delivering capital strategy and partnering initiatives including the raising of in excess of $1.5Bn equity for develop to core and core plus logistics strategies.

Prior to that Ben also held senior roles as the Head of Logistics at ISPT and Fund Manager for various unlisted industrial and office funds at Dexus.

Ben holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics degrees from the University of Sydney.

Kenji Fukuda

Head of Development

Kenji has over 20 years of experience in the industrial real estate industry, having previously worked with LOGOS, Frasers Property Industrial (formerly Australand) and ESR Australia (formerly Commercial & Industrial Property).

Most recently, Kenji was the National Construction Manager for LOGOS where he was involved in acquisitions, leasing and project delivery management across the Australia and New Zealand markets.

Kenji has a strong technical background having held various senior roles in Architecture, Design Management, Project Management and Development Management.

Hong Goh

Head of Funds and Corporate Development

Hong has over 10 years of experience across real estate transactions, corporate strategy, funds management and capital formation. Throughout his career, he has executed more than 30 direct and platform-level transactions across the Asia Pacific region, representing over $2.5Bn in cumulative value across opportunistic, value-add, and core plus strategies.

Prior to joining Hale, Hong was Deputy Transactions and Fund Manager at Aberdeen Asset Management, where he focused on executing real estate investments throughout APAC and developing funds in the living and industrial sectors. During his tenure, he also served as the named Fund Manager for Aberdeen’s Greater China Value-Add Fund, holding responsibility for the day-to-day management of the fund’s local operating companies and underlying hard assets, as well as debt restructuring and overall fund strategy.

Hong earned a Master of Philosophy in Real Estate Finance from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Manchester.

Gareth Sneade

Head of Asset Management

Gareth has more than 22 years’ experience in asset management across all major property sectors. Prior to joining Hale, he was Head of Asset Management at Aware Real Estate, where he established and led the asset management function overseeing the direct management of Aware Super’s $3 billion Australian property portfolio.

Previously, Gareth held senior roles at LaSalle Investment Management and Fife Capital, where he delivered value creation through value-add strategies across a diverse range of real estate assets. Gareth holds a Bachelor of Land Management from the University of Reading (UK) and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
